Junior / Intermediate Structural Design Engineer Location: Vancouver, BC Salary: $80,000–$100,000 (dependent on experience) A well-established structural engineering consultancy in Vancouver is seeking a Junior / Intermediate Structural Design Engineer to join its growing team. This firm offers a collaborative, fast-paced technical environment with strong mentorship and exposure to a variety of building projects. Qualifications & Skills ASc. or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering with a Structural major Registered as a P.Eng. or EIT with EGBC Structural design experience in concrete and wood Working knowledge of the BC Building Code Ability to accurately read and interpret drawing plans and construction documentation Strong verbal and written communication skills Key Responsibilities Prepare structural designs, calculations, and analysis in accordance with applicable codes and standards Develop engineering drawings and documents using computer-assisted design software Review drawings, reports, and construction documentation to support project planning and execution Conduct field reviews and structural site observations Review shop drawings, contractor requests, and RFIs Coordinate with internal team members and external project stakeholders Ideal Candidate Positive, team-oriented, and motivated by technical challenges Organized and detail-oriented Confident communicator Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to further develop their technical skills within a supportive and dynamic structural consulting team.

Requirements
Candidates must have an ASc. or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering with a Structural major and be registered as a P.Eng. or EIT with EGBC. They should possess structural design experience in concrete and wood and have a working knowledge of the BC Building Code.
