Edmonton, AB (Hybrid/Remote) Full‑time Contract | 12 Months + 2 Optional Extensions Skyridge Corporation is looking for an exceptional Senior Service & UX Designer to join us as a subcontractor supporting a major government digital modernization initiative. You’ll work directly with the Government Unit on a multi‑year transformation of housing programs, digital services, and enterprise platforms including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Partner Portal. What You’ll Do As the Senior Service & UX Designer, you’ll be the design lead embedded within ASHC’s Digital Business Solutions team. Your work will shape the future of housing services across Alberta. Human‑Centred Design & Research • Lead discovery activities, user interviews, workshops, and usability testing • Map current and future state service journeys and blueprints • Translate research insights into clear design direction and measurable improvements UX/UI Design & Enterprise Design Systems • Create IA, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI designs • Design responsive, mobile‑friendly enterprise applications • Contribute to enterprise design systems (components, tokens, patterns) • Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.2 AA) across all design outputs Digital Service & Product Design • Design citizen‑facing, partner‑facing, and internal digital services • Simplify complex workflows and improve usability across platforms • Align design decisions with business goals, policy requirements, and service outcomes Agile Delivery & Design Leadership • Work closely with Product Managers, BAs, Developers, Architects, and QA • Participate in sprint ceremonies and iterative delivery cycles • Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder sessions • Support design QA and validate implemented solutions What You Bring Required Experience • 10+ years in UX, UI, and Service Design within complex enterprise environments • 5+ years supporting digital transformation in government, public sector, or regulated industries • Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end service design and UX delivery • Deep experience with user research, journey mapping, blueprinting, and prototyping • Experience designing enterprise digital platforms and responsive web apps • Proven ability to build and maintain design systems • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) • Comfortable working in Agile teams and facilitating workshops Education Diploma or degree in Interaction Design, HCI, UX Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field. Tools • Figma • Miro / FigJam • Jira / Confluence • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset Contract Details • Start Date: November 2, 2026 • End Date: November 1, 2027 • Extensions: Two optional 1‑year renewals • Hours: Full‑time allocation (approx. 2000 hours/year) • Compensation: Hourly rate (negotiated based on experience)
