Job summary

SKYTRAC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wire Harness & Electronics Assembler to join our Manufacturing team in Kelowna, BC. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a key role in building the avionics and flight data management products that support aviation customers worldwide. This position is primarily focused on wire harness assembly (approximately 90% of the role), with additional responsibilities supporting electronics assembly and integration activities (approximately 10%). Success in this role requires precision, consistency, and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is based on-site in our Kelowna, BC office. As an Electronics Assembler, your responsibilities will include: Assembling wire harnesses using hand tools and established assembly techniques Building and integrating electronic and mechanical components and assemblies Reading and interpreting assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions to accurately identify components, materials, and assembly requirements Supporting the Engineering team with related activities as required Following established engineering, manufacturing, and quality procedures to ensure product reliability and consistency Collaborating with internal teams to support efficient production processes and continuous improvement initiatives Adhering to all health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment by keeping workstations and storage areas orderly and complying with company procedures and regulations What You Bring Candidate Must Have’s Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational and time-management skills Demonstrated commitment to producing high-quality work and maintaining accuracy in all tasks Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment Proven ability to manage priorities and meet objectives within established timelines Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes Self-motivated and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset and a desire to drive operational excellence This will make you stand out Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and work instructions Experience in static awareness and material handling Proficiency in assembling small & fragile components Proficiency in hand soldering Excellent computer skills Related assembly experience in manufacturing is an asset Familiarity with the Iridium network an asset Familiarity with the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) an asset Why join SKYTRAC At SKYTRAC, we are a dynamic team of passionate experts.
