SM Cladding Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist to join our team in Stoney Creek, Ontario. Position Details Permanent, full-time employment $37.00 per hour 40 hours per week Day shift On-site Start as soon as possible 1 vacancy Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience 5 years or more. Work Setting Building construction materials. Responsibilities Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Repair machine tools and parts. Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance. Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools. Experience and Specialization – Measuring Tools Micrometers Calibre Gauges Verniers Additional Information Security and Safety Bondable. Transportation/Travel Information Own transportation.
