We take pride in delivering specialized talent, superior performance, and seamless execution to meet the challenging business needs of customers worldwide Role - Network Engineer Location - Calgary, AB T2P 0T1 (5 Days Onsite/Week) Hiring Mode: Fulltime Job description A Network Engineer is responsible for the setup configuration running network deployments and buildouts This includes but not limited to hands on work in a datacenter lab environment buildouts deployments configuring network elements to pass traffic through the test setup configuring a traffic generator troubleshooting issues with the baseline test setup gathering test data analyzing the test data for root causes and building test reports working with stakeholders and DCS teams MUST CCNP level networking Python Good to have Powershell basics required Skills Routing protocols such as BGP Link State Algorithm VXLAN EBGP MPLS RSVP with Traffic Engineering knowledge as well as practical experience including troubleshooting and good to have design experience Python Scripting Level Basic coding experience 4+ years experience in network buildout deployments 4+ years experience with Datacenter Switches and Routers Arista Cisco Juniper Experience with one or more Network element OS EOS NXOS IOS JUNOS SONiC Experience with Layer 2 Protocols VLAN Bridges Ethernet Good knowledge in Python or PowerShell scripting Previous MS experience is PLUS Good change management network troubleshooting skills Firewall management Skills Mandatory Skills : Arista DC/Branch Routers and Switches, Cisco DC/Branches Routers & Switches, Device Management, Network Infrastructure, Networking Good to Have Skills : IOS(Internetworking Operating System) Upgrades and, L2 L3 Switching and Routing Protocols Testing

What you’ll do

Requirements

Requires at least four years of experience in network buildouts and deployments, and four years working with data center switches and routers from vendors such as Arista, Cisco, or Juniper. Candidates must have CCNP-level networking knowledge, practical experience with routing and switching protocols, and basic Python coding; basic PowerShell knowledge is also required.
