Job summary
PARTS ADVISOR Smithers Toyota is looking for a Parts Advisor to join our Parts Department. The Parts Advisor helps support our customers, technicians and Service Department by identifying and supplying the right parts at the right time. You will assist with parts sales, quoting, ordering, receiving and inventory while providing accurate information and professional customer service. Key Responsibilities * Assist retail customers, technicians and the Service Department with parts needs * Accurately identify and locate automotive parts and accessories * Provide pricing, availability and estimated arrival times * Prepare parts quotes and process customer orders * Order, receive, stock and issue parts accurately * Monitor special orders, backorders and customer follow-up * Maintain accurate inventory and organized parts storage * Coordinate parts requirements with Service Advisors and technicians * Process returns, cores and credits as required * Provide professional and friendly customer service What We Are Looking For * Strong communication and customer service skills * Organized with good attention to detail * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment * Reliable, professional and team focused * Comfortable using computers and learning parts and inventory systems * Automotive or parts experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person * Valid driver’s license
