Come and join our team of superheroes, as we are on the search to recruit our next generation of Sales Assistants, for Smyths Toys Superstores! This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of £12.50 per hour for over 21 and £10.25 per hour for under 21. Responsibilities Provide a high level of customer service Ascertain customers’ needs and wants Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team Keep the store clean and tidy Pack shelves and merchandise Work delivery and complete price changes Work on the tills Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers The Ideal Candidate Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential: Outdoor/Bikes Nursery Software & Gaming Backdoor/Warehouse Our stores are open 7 days a week so we need our Sales Assistants to be as flexible as possible. Retail experience in areas such as outdoor equipment, nursery, or gaming is highly desirable but not essential. Candidates must be flexible to work across a 7-day weekly schedule.
