Job Title: Database/Data Engineer Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week) Job Summary We are seeking a Data Engineer to join a fast-paced team responsible for building and supporting enterprise-scale data platforms used for trade reporting, data enrichment, reference data management, and business intelligence solutions. The role involves database engineering, performance optimization, platform modernization, cloud migration, and development of highly available data infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize large-scale relational and NoSQL database solutions. Support database performance tuning, testing, upgrades, and platform migrations. Develop and maintain data processing and automation scripts using Python. Contribute to cloud-based database initiatives and modern data platform development. Collaborate with business and technology teams in an Agile delivery environment. Ensure high availability, scalability, resiliency, and data quality across platforms. Required Skills 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Database Engineering. Strong knowledge of RDBMS technologies (SQL Server, DB2, Sybase, or similar). Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB. Python scripting and automation experience. Basic Unix/Linux knowledge. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Nice to Have Snowflake and Azure SQL experience. Data Modeling concepts. ETL tools such as Talend or Informatica. Git version control. Database replication technologies. Agile/Scrum development experience. Preferred Profile Passionate about data and database technologies. Experience working with high-volume, real-time enterprise data systems. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work effectively in collaborative and distributed teams.

Requirements
