Works in collaboration with the majority of departments and provides technical support to the production team while following the rules of occupational health and safety. THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU Troubleshooting industrial equipment. Performing all required repairs as well as preventive maintenance of production equipment and facility. Ensuring that equipment and facilities are safe at all times; Participating in the development and follow-up of the preventive and predictive maintenance plan in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager. Fostering communication among team members, and maintaining or improving team spirit; Performing facilities maintenance as required. Answering all service calls. Completing inspections of various equipment and facilities (machinery, buildings, etc.); Other duties as assigned what we are looking for Your journey : Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent). Completion of an Industrial Maintenance or related post-secondary program, or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant work experience and training, is required. Candidates who are registered 1st to 3rd Year Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Apprentices will also be considered Forklift, aerial lift, lockout/tagout, and other safety training considered an asset Experience in a manufacturing plant Your knowledge and competences : Good knowledge of industrial environment Maintenance support experience in a manufacturing plant Your skills and attitudes : Working knowledge of industrial machinery, equipment, and facility systems. Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and safe work practices. Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and service calls. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrative effective collaboration between production and maintenance teams Electrical experience, Siemens PLC and components experience preferred. The work conditions : Occasional variations according to the work schedule and production emergencies Must always wear safety glasses and boots Dusty and dirty work environment Occasional exposure to solvent, and vapours or fumes Must be available according to the schedule set to answer service calls for machines Perform physical tasks involving frequent lifting of light items and occasional lifting of heavier items using safe lifting techniques and team assistance when required
