We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer on 1 yr contract for one of our healthcare clients in Toronto. The Senior Frontend Developer helps build responsive, high-quality applications across web and mobile. In this role, they’ll work hands-on with React and React Native, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to turn ideas into functional products. Must Have Experience/skills: A minimum of 6 years of frontend software development experience Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript with demonstrated expertise in React Experience building mobile applications with React Native or similar cross-platform frameworks Experience with state management solutions (Redux or similar) Proven ability to build responsive, accessible interfaces that work across browsers and devices Hands-on experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and services Solid understanding of frontend testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing Familiarity with frontend security best practices, including input validation and secure data handling Strongly Preferred: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and frontend build tooling (Webpack or similar) Prior work in regulated industries with compliance and data protection requirements Nice to Have: Familiarity with healthcare terminology, WCAG & Healthcare data standards

Requirements

Requires at least six years of frontend development experience and strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, along with experience building cross-platform mobile applications. Candidates should also have experience with state management, accessible responsive interfaces, API integration, testing, and frontend security; CI/CD, regulated-industry experience, healthcare terminology, WCAG, and healthcare data standards are preferred or nice to have.
