Leverage Difference • Be Accountable • Passion for Innovation • Cultivate Agile Collaboration RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Elevator Manager, the Elevator Operator is responsible for receiving and load out of grain in a safe, efficient, and traceable manner. Bin grain varieties and trace Loadout grain varieties and trace Safe operations in all weather conditions Elevator maintenance and housekeeping Other routine duties as assigned Some travel between sites may be required SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Previous experience in grain handling, food processing or manufacturing considered an asset. High degree of mechanical aptitude through apprenticeship or job related experience. Previous safety training an asset. Excellent communication and written skills. Ability to work alone or in a group. Attention to detail Positive attitude and self-starter EDUCATION High school diploma. What you’ll do
The Elevator Operator is responsible for receiving and loading out grain safely and efficiently. Additional duties include elevator maintenance and housekeeping.
Requirements
Candidates should have previous experience in grain handling or related fields and a high degree of mechanical aptitude. A high school diploma is required, with preference for post-secondary education.
