We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Shipper/Receiver based out of Sussex, NB location (7 Turner Court). RESPONSIBILITIES Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and on time Verify products are correctly identified, labeled, and undamaged in accordance with company procedures; report receiving discrepancies Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup Move inventory to designated storage and put-away areas efficiently Coordinate and schedule incoming shipments to support smooth warehouse operations Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts Assist with scheduled physical inventory counts Provide back up support to Counter & Inside Sales staff Provide backup support for VMI programs and our customers Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS 1 or more years of experience in a warehouse setting, preferably an industrial setting Experience with hand tools and warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklifts, etc) strongly preferred Proactive approach to all tasks Strong written and verbal communications skills Effective time management and punctuality Accuracy and attention to detail Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures Superior organizational skills Team player who is ready and willing to jump in to support Basic level or higher knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel) PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds on a regular basis (product).
