Role Description This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including administering HR policies and procedures, coordinating employee benefits, and assisting with benefits enrollment and changes. The Human Resources Generalist will help manage employee records, support recruitment and onboarding activities, and respond to HR-related inquiries from team members and managers. Additional responsibilities include assisting with performance management processes, supporting training initiatives, and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and company standards. This position works closely with leadership and staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment. Responsibilities Assist in the full cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews Manage new employee onboarding and orientation process Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies Support payroll administration, processing bi-weekly payrolls and updating employee profiles Act as a primary point of contact for employee questions and concerns Coordinate training and development programs Contribute to creating and maintaining an inclusive and engaging company culture Assist in coordination of company events and meetings Act as a coordinator for the senior leadership team in support of company townhalls Responsible for benefits administration, ensuring team members are enrolled and benefits changed in a timely manner Supports the management team on programs and initiatives that aim to inspire a positive team member experience Maintaining HR reports & data Other duties as required Qualifications & Requirements 1 or more years of experience working in a HR role Post-secondary degree or diploma in HR preferred Familiarity with Dayforce an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Office Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask with changing priorities Flexibility, teamwork and confidentiality are a must Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service to internal teams and external partners Genuine care and respect for people Benefits Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance Paid time off RRSP match Vision care Salary: CA$50,000.00 - CA$65,000.00 per year
