Role With detailed instructions, performs basic manual tasks and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines to complete a variety of routine and repetitive assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Level of responsibility: Works from process sheets or detailed written/verbal instructions. Responsibilities Performs various simple operations for high-volume production. Operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines. Performs basic validations prior to proceeding with subsequent production steps. Connects assembled units and initiates automated validation process. Feeds materials and pulls finished product from the line. Transports parts to the various workstations. Supports the Shipping/Receiving operations. Other related task as required. Minimum Qualifications Capable of following basic assembly drawings and detailed instructions Ability to use production databases Manual dexterity and ability to use simple hand tools Team player Education: High school education or equivalent 0-1 years of relevant experience Good knowledge of French Comments/Special Considerations Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP). What you’ll do

The Production Operator performs basic manual tasks and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines for routine assembly operations. Responsibilities include feeding materials, pulling finished products, and supporting shipping and receiving operations.

Requirements

Candidates must be capable of following basic assembly drawings and detailed instructions, with a high school education or equivalent. Relevant experience of 0-1 years is preferred, along with the ability to use simple hand tools.
