From our 40,000 sq. ft. showroom at 185 James Street, we help customers furnish their homes with furniture, appliances, mattresses, rugs and home decor. The opportunity We are looking for a friendly, motivated Sales Associate to join our local team. This is an on-site position, and we are open to both full-time and part-time applicants. What you'll do - Welcome customers and learn about their needs, preferences and budget. - Recommend furniture, appliances, mattresses and home products with confidence and care. - Explain product features, options, pricing, financing and delivery services. - Prepare quotes, process sales and follow up with customers. - Keep product knowledge current and help maintain an organized, inviting showroom. - Work closely with the sales, delivery and office teams to create a smooth customer experience. What we're looking for - Strong customer service, listening and communication skills. - A friendly, dependable and professional approach. - Confidence learning about a wide range of products and explaining them clearly. - Basic computer, math and point-of-sale skills. - Good organization and follow-through. - Availability during retail hours, including some weekends. - Previous retail, furniture, appliance or sales experience is an asset, but not required.
