To provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics promotes opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and develop skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. For over 50 years Special Olympics has grown from a modest program serving local athletes to become the world’s largest movement dedicated to promoting respect, acceptance, inclusion, and human dignity for people with intellectual disabilities through sports.

The role involves leading the redevelopment and modernization of the organization's website ecosystem, including technical framework definition and implementation. Key tasks include developing website functionality, managing content migration, and producing monthly web trends analysis reports.
