Join a Large-Scale Industrial Security Team in Kitimat, BC! We are seeking Security Officers who reside in the Kitimat or Terrace area to join our team supporting a large-scale industrial project in Kitimat, British Columbia. Successful applicants will play a critical role in maintaining site security, supporting access control operations, assisting with emergency response, and helping ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and infrastructure. Responsibilities Maintaining excellent customer service to guests, colleagues, and site workers Access control/intrusion detection of site, waterfront and port area Monitoring site activities, detecting suspicious occurrences and providing detailed written incident reports Mobile and foot patrols of assigned area and recording daily activities Processing site access requests (Visitors, Vendors, Deliveries) Administrative duties and issuing/creating site access badges Monitoring access control, intrusion detection and video surveillance systems Emergency response dispatch and team communications via radio Qualifications Valid BC Security License Valid Intermediate First Aid or Level C CPR/AED Valid full Class 5 Driver's Licence and acceptable Driver's Abstract Valid Transportation Endorsement Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol Test (SSRG will arrange) Must be able to pass criminal record check Strong written and spoken English communication skills Willingness to work both day and night shifts, indoors or outdoors as required Additional Information Full uniform provided including PPE. Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid BC Security License, Intermediate First Aid/CPR, and a Class 5 Driver's License. Applicants must reside in or relocate to the Kitimat or Terrace area and pass drug and criminal record checks.
