St. Albert Public Schools is seeking a Junior High French Immersion Teacher to join the team at Hillgrove School for the 2026-2027 school year, More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values. FTE: 1.0 FTE; Temporary from October 2026 – June 2027 Responsibilities Grade 9 French Immersion Homeroom Grade 8 & 9 French Language Arts Grade 7 & 8 Late French Immersion Language Arts and French Social Studies Grade 8 & 9 Soccer Academy, working alongside Soccer Academy staff Qualifications And Attributes A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Strong communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills French Immersion teaching experience preferred Candidate needs to be language proficient in French and English DALF C1 or equivalent preferred Commitment to a positive school culture & building community All completed applications received by the deadline will be considered. Requirements

A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate and proficiency in both French and English are required, along with strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. French Immersion teaching experience is preferred, as is DALF C1 or an equivalent qualification; the candidate should also be committed to a positive school culture and community building.
