The Department of Teacher Education and StFX Online Learning & Professional Studies invites applications for a Part-time Academic Instructor for the following course: Course Number and Title: EDUC 436, Inclusive Practices II Course Description: This course provides preservice teachers with an understanding of the learning strengths and challenges of students with exceptionalities. Emphasis will be placed on collaborative team planning, professional supports provided for students with diverse learning needs, the assessment and education referral process, and the development of individualized educational plans. Start and End Dates: September 11, 2026 - October 3, 2026 (subject to final budgetary approval) Class Schedule: TBD Delivery Mode: In person (Unama'ki) and online Qualifications Candidates should: * Have background understanding and knowledge of working within MK schools; * Be recognized as exceptional educators in their past teaching experience; * Have a PhD or MEd (or equivalent) with extensive teaching experience. * Be leaders in their fields Preference will be given to Mi’kmaw speakers or those who have an understanding of/ some fluency with the language.
