Sales & Business Development Representative – SaaS Full-Time | Prince George, BC Preferred | Remote Within Canada Considered About DesignTime & Stackd DesignTime was started in 2024 by a group of engineers who were tired of losing time to administrative and project management tasks. That's why we created Stackd, our project management platform built specifically for engineering and architecture firms. Stackd helps teams spend less time managing projects and more time delivering great work. We're an early-stage SaaS company based in Prince George, BC, looking for a driven Sales & Business Development Representative to help grow our client base and build alongside the company. Our preference is for this position to be based in our Prince George office; however, we're open to remote work within Canada for the right candidate. The Role You'll generate new business by identifying prospective clients, building relationships, conducting product demonstrations, and helping engineering and architecture firms understand how Stackd can improve the way they work. You'll manage the sales cycle from initial outreach through closing and work closely with our internal team to support new clients. We're looking for someone who enjoys talking to people, isn't afraid to pick up the phone, is curious about how businesses operate, and wants to build a career in B2B technology sales. What You'll Do Identify and engage prospective clients through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels. Research and qualify leads to build a healthy sales pipeline. Schedule and conduct discovery meetings and product demonstrations. Build relationships with prospects by understanding their workflows, challenges, and business goals. Manage opportunities from initial contact through closing. Clearly communicate Stackd's value and how it can help firms streamline their operations. Collaborate with marketing on lead generation initiatives, events, and campaigns. Gather customer and market feedback to support future sales and product strategies. Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline records in HubSpot. What We're Looking For Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. Confidence reaching out to new people and starting conversations. Strong problem-solving skills and genuine curiosity about customer needs. Comfortable learning and demonstrating technology. Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Nice to Have Experience in SaaS, B2B sales, business development, or another client-facing role. Familiarity with engineering, architecture, construction, or professional services. Experience with outbound prospecting, LinkedIn, or social selling. HubSpot or other CRM experience. A desire to help build and grow a company from the ground up. Compensation $65,000–$80,000 per year, plus commission based on sales performance. Compensation within the range will be based on experience and qualifications. Why DesignTime? You'll be joining Stackd at an early stage, working closely with the people building the product and the clients using it, with the opportunity to directly contribute to how we grow. If you're a people-person with the drive to create new opportunities and you're excited by the idea of growing alongside a Canadian SaaS company that's just getting started, we'd love to hear from you.
