Business Analytics Intern Location: Canada | Work Arrangement: Remote | Employment Type: Internship Position Overview We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Business Analytics Intern to assist with business performance analysis, reporting, and decision support. The role involves applying analytical methods to business information and translating findings into actionable insights that can support operational and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring attention. Assist in preparing performance reports, management summaries, and business presentations. Monitor relevant KPIs and support periodic performance analysis. Conduct research and analysis to support business planning and strategic initiatives. Assist with customer, market, operational, and product-related analysis where required. Develop data-driven insights to support business recommendations. Support forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance evaluation activities. Translate business requirements into structured analytical tasks and deliverables. Present findings in a clear and concise manner to relevant stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of analytical work, assumptions, findings, and supporting information. Collaborate with business and technical teams on projects involving data and performance improvement. Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of business concepts and analytical methodologies. Comfortable working with numerical information and business performance data. Familiarity with Excel and data visualization tools. Basic knowledge of SQL or business intelligence platforms is an advantage. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to organize information and manage multiple priorities effectively.
