Position Details : Job Title: Salesforce Tech Lead Location: Toronto, Ontario (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Banking / Financial Services Salary: CAD $110,000 – $130,000 per year Work Authorization: Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only About the Role : As a Salesforce Tech Lead, you will lead the technical design, development, customization, integration, and deployment of enterprise Salesforce solutions supporting critical banking applications. You will provide technical leadership throughout the Salesforce implementation lifecycle while collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will play a key role in driving Salesforce best practices, solution architecture, system integrations, CI/CD, release management, and enterprise application modernization. Key Responsibilities : Lead all technical aspects of Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and customizations. Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Lightning Experience. Lead enterprise Salesforce implementations supporting 300+ users. Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and development best practices across project teams. Manage and mentor Salesforce developers while conducting code reviews and ensuring development quality. Lead complex Salesforce integrations with enterprise applications including Oracle, SAP, and third-party platforms. Design and implement REST and SOAP API integrations. Lead enterprise data migration and ETL activities while ensuring data quality and governance. Manage AppExchange product implementations and third-party application integrations. Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and release management processes. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. Participate in solution architecture, estimation, technical planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. Define technical standards, coding guidelines, governance models, and Salesforce best practices. Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies. Drive continuous improvements to business processes using Salesforce platform capabilities. Support production environments and resolve complex technical issues. Required Skills & Experience : 10+ years of overall IT experience. 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience. Minimum 5+ years of Salesforce platform development experience. Minimum 3+ years leading enterprise Salesforce implementations supporting 300+ users. Strong experience developing Salesforce applications using: Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) Lightning Experience SOQL SOSL Strong experience leading Salesforce technical teams. Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with Oracle, SAP, ERP platforms, and other enterprise applications. Strong experience with Salesforce integration tools such as Informatica Cloud or similar ETL platforms. Experience delivering complex enterprise data migration projects. Strong expertise with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Salesforce integration patterns. Experience managing AppExchange applications and third-party integrations. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, sharing rules, permission sets, and governance. Experience participating in all phases of the Salesforce implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, training, and production support. Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments. Experience working in global delivery models. Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
