Position Details : Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer Location: Toronto, Ontario (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Banking / Financial Services Salary: CAD $110,000 – $120,000 per year Work Authorization: Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only Interview Date: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST About the Role : As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will lead the design, development, customization, and integration of enterprise Salesforce solutions supporting mission-critical banking applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions while driving technical excellence across the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities : Lead and own all technical aspects of Salesforce implementations and customizations. Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Develop custom Salesforce solutions that align with business and technical requirements. Lead enterprise Salesforce implementation projects supporting 300+ users. Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as Oracle, SAP, and other third-party applications. Lead complex data migration initiatives ensuring data quality, integrity, and governance. Build and maintain secure API integrations using REST and SOAP web services. Manage Salesforce releases, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines. Define technical architecture, coding standards, and development best practices. Review code, mentor developers, and provide technical leadership across project teams. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in solution design, technical estimation, planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support. Identify opportunities to improve business processes through Salesforce platform capabilities. Proactively identify project risks, technical issues, and mitigation strategies. Support production environments and troubleshoot complex technical challenges. Required Skills & Experience : 10+ years of overall IT experience. Minimum 8 years of hands-on Salesforce experience. At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience. Minimum 3 years leading enterprise Salesforce implementations supporting 300+ users. Strong experience developing Salesforce applications using: Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) Lightning Experience SOQL SOSL Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities. Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems such as Oracle, SAP, ERP platforms, and external applications. Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Salesforce integration patterns. Experience with Salesforce integration tools such as Informatica Cloud or similar ETL platforms. Experience leading complex enterprise data migration initiatives. Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and governance. Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working in global delivery models.
