Your Opportunity We are currently seeking an enthusiastic environmental professional looking to advance their career as a Contaminated Sites Project Coordinator within our growing Site Investigation and Remediation (SIR) team. The preferred candidate will have experience coordinating and/or managing contaminated site assessment, remediation, and risk assessment and management projects for federal clients and/or clients in northern environments. Your Key Responsibilities * Promote a strong health and safety culture and actively participate in Stantec’s Health and Safety Program. * Create and lead a positive safety culture on all projects. * Assist in development of detailed scopes of work and cost estimates to execute Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), contaminated site investigations (i.e., i.e., Phase II ESAs), Remedial Options Analysis, Remedial Action Plans, Risk Assessment and Risk Management Plans, Regulatory Monitoring and Reporting. * Coordinate and manage sub-contractors, as required, to execute scopes of work. * As required, conduct and/or lead field work on complex projects and mentor field staff on field execution. * Liaise with field staff and technical discipline leaders during project execution. * Analyze and interpret project data and prepare technical reports that meet regulatory requirements. * Participate in marketing and business development activities and initiatives, contribute to proposal preparation. * Collaborate and coordinate with project managers to properly resource projects. Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week. The coordinator will manage contaminated site assessment and remediation projects while promoting a strong health and safety culture. They will also assist in developing scopes of work, cost estimates, and technical reports while collaborating with project managers and field staff.

Candidates must hold a degree or diploma in Environmental Engineering, Science, Geology, or Hydrogeology and possess at least five years of relevant experience. Professional registration with NAPEG or the ability to obtain it is required, along with strong technical writing and project execution skills.
