Stantec's office in Ottawa, ON is currently seeking a Buildings Mechanical CAD/Revit Technician/Technologist. This is a dynamic work environment where your abilities will strengthen and grow as you complete a diverse range of projects. Our team of interdisciplinary engineers works collaboratively with clients to design buildings and processes that are on track for safety, performance, and sustainability. Reporting to the Mechanical Team Leader the successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: Producing aspects of mechanical design and drawings in AutoCAD and Revit; Organizing and maintaining a design and CAD digital file database for each project; Successfully carrying out assignments on project design teams; Facilitating and ensuring the quality of design, drawings and graphic work produced for the team; and ensuring that the projects' needs are met in terms of project work plan schedules and budgets; Training will be provided to advance your skills in areas of detailed design. Requirements
Candidates should have a diploma in an engineering technician or technology program and preferably two years of experience in design and drafting for mechanical systems. Effective communication skills and a self-motivated attitude are essential for this role.
