Your Opportunity Stantec Geomatics Ltd. is seeking an Ontario Land Surveyor to support the Markham office. This position involves the supervision of a dedicated team of survey technologists and technicians and liaising with clients and team leads from other disciplines. Your Key Responsibilities * Preparing proposals * Project research * Project computations * Field and office staff supervision * Plan review and signing plans * Reporting and timely delivery on final returns Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week. What you’ll do

The Ontario Land Surveyor will supervise a team of survey technologists and technicians while managing multifaceted projects and liaising with clients. Key duties include preparing proposals, conducting project research, performing computations, and reviewing and signing survey plans.

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed surveyor and possess a valid driver's license. Proficiency with GPS, total station equipment, and survey computational software like Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD is required.
