Job summary
Aviation Starlink is looking for an Aircraft Structures/Maintenance Technician for a hybrid role. Your Role Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, your role will be to perform the routine maintenance tasks scheduled by your coordinator. Depending on your qualifications, you may be responsible for certifying aircraft maintenance work and rectifying deficiencies identified during routine inspections or reported by flight crews following a flight. Key Responsibilities Perform inspections, repairs, overhauls, and modifications on aircraft, components, equipment, and structures. Conduct structural inspections to identify damage, cracks, corrosion, deformation, and other anomalies. Perform repairs, modifications, assembly, adjustments, drilling, and riveting of structural components in accordance with approved technical data. Assist with the rectification of deficiencies identified during inspections or reported by flight crews. Perform maintenance activities in accordance with the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM), company procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. When required and within the scope of your authorizations, certify completed maintenance work and complete the required regulatory documentation. Collaborate with various maintenance teams and provide support based on operational needs. Perform any other related duties assigned by the maintenance team. Required Qualifications and Requirements Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations; S License (an asset); Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status; Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC); Valid Class 5 driver's license. Your Skills Excellent manual dexterity; Strong communication skills in both French and English : Reason: Post-maintenance certification documentation is in English: Procedures, specifications, and technical regulations are in English; Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team; Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively; Flexibility to adapt to operational needs; Strong adaptability, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
