Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in St. Catharines, ON. The Job Title will support program participants through direct service, including intake, assessment, and ongoing follow-up. Day-to-day tasks may include providing information and referrals, coordinating access to community resources, and assisting individuals with goal setting and action plans. The role involves maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and contributing to program delivery and improvement. The individual in this role is expected to engage participants in a respectful, non-judgmental manner and help them navigate barriers to self-sufficiency and improved quality of life. Qualifications Ability to provide client-centered support, including active listening, empathy, and respectful communication with diverse individuals. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, maintain records, and meet program timelines. Capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues, community agencies, and partners to coordinate services and resources. Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., email, word processing, data entry) and comfort learning new systems as needed. Knowledge of community resources, social services, or related support programs is an asset. Post-secondary education in social services, community work, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and non-discriminatory practices in working with vulnerable or marginalized populations. Ability to work on-site in St. Catharines, ON and adapt to evolving program and client needs.
