The Production Inventory Control Clerk performs duties related to monitoring, storing, issuing, picking kits, and/or transferring inventory such as materials and kits. The clerk embraces a culture defined by safety, quality, teamwork, and accountability. In this role you will: * Conduct inventory daily cycle counts in Production and as requested by Warehouse. * Enter data for stock issuing, relocation, and inventory adjustments. * Support the production team by ensuring materials and kits are accurately picked, issued, prepared, and available in accordance with production schedules. * Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, and other relevant departments to identify and address upcoming material shortages. * Maintain accurate inventory through regular inventory counts of materials in the production warehouse. * Ensure accurate traceability of all materials issued to production by verifying and recording batch/lot numbers in theappropriate productiontravelers and ensuring materials are pickedin accordance withtraveler requirements. * Maintain kits and materials in the assigned work area in a secure and orderly manner to mitigate against loss, damage, or misidentification. * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in the assigned area and comply with all company safety policies and procedures. * Check the calibration equipment list to ensure equipment is returned to the calibration laboratory before its expiry date (if possible), or that overdue equipment is marked and/or segregated and not used until recalibrated. * Participate in mid-year and year-end inventory counts. * Support the Shipping and Receiving department as required. * Record results where required. * Meet schedule and production or warehouse requirements. You have: * Grade 12 diploma (or equivalent experience) * 1 year experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. * High attention to detail. * Self-motivated, quick learner. * Ability to follow demonstrated steps. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Physical demands include lifting and moving material weighing up to 50lbs and wearing personal protective equipment. * Ability to keep track of various tasks and manage time appropriately. * Ability to keep a clean workspace(some area scan be sensitive to foreign materials). * Put safety first and realize how important it is to take care around certain machinery/equipment. * Perform other functions and duties as assigned.
