Stella's Circle is an award-winning, nationally celebrated charitable organization based in St. John’s, NL with a mission to transform lives through Real Homes, Real Help, and Real Work. Each year we serve over 1,500 adults facing barriers to fully participating in their community. These barriers include mental illness, addictions, trauma, poverty, homelessness, criminal justice involvement, low literacy and long periods of unemployment. Our wrap-around housing, counseling, and employment programs are rooted in social justice and inclusion. The Cleaning Team Lead provides onsite guidance and hands-on instruction to participants while ensuring commercial cleaning contracts are completed safely and efficiently. They are responsible for mentoring participants, maintaining customer relationships, and providing constructive performance feedback.

The Residential Counsellor provides supportive guidance and life skills training to young women in an emergency shelter setting. Responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, maintaining resident files, facilitating community appointments, and resolving communal living issues.

The Night Counselor provides counseling and support services to residents, including crisis management, substance abuse support, and daily living assistance. They are responsible for maintaining building security, documenting resident needs, and coordinating with staff and external agencies.

The Life Skills Counsellor supports residents at Emmanuel House by facilitating healthy living plans, recreational activities, and daily tasks. They also provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and assistance with community integration and housing transitions.

The Overnight Residential Support & Safety Worker monitors security systems and conducts building checks to ensure the safety and stability of residents. They also provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and emergency response support during overnight hours.
