We are looking for an Assembler to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. You will work on the assembly of subsystems or equipment components directly on the production lines. You may also work on other tasks such as packaging devices or preparing service kits. Location: Beauport, QC (Fully On-site) Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent What You'll do as an Assembler at STERIS Perform assembly tasks according to the production schedule and required quantities; Assemble all equipment components (doors, pumps, tanks, cabinets, plumbing, pneumatic systems) and make the necessary adjustments in accordance with equipment specifications; Perform surface finish inspections using the appropriate measuring equipment; For those working in the packaging cell: disassemble equipment into subcomponents and carry out the tasks required to build shipping crates (cutting wood, assembling crates, applying labels/stickers, etc.); Identify issues with parts or the assembly process and promptly notify the supervisor; Participate in problem analysis and resolution; Perform basic maintenance on assembly tools; Participate in continuous improvement activities and projects; Perform all other related duties as assigned. The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed High school diploma (Secondary V) or equivalent; Two (2) or more years of experience in mechanical assembly; Ability to read and understand assembly drawings; Ability to use hand tools; Attention to detail and precision.
