Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) avocat(e) possédant de trois (3) à six (6) ans d’expérience pertinente en Fonds d’investissement et gestion d’actifs, désireux(se) de se joindre à notre groupe de Valeurs mobilières du bureau de Montréal et à notre pratique nationale en produits et services financiers. Dans ce rôle en Fonds d’investissement et gestion d’actifs, vous serez chargé, entre autres, de rédiger et de réviser les conventions de fonds ainsi que l’ensemble de la documentation liée aux investissements dans divers véhicules d’investissement. Vous participerez à la structuration et à la mise en place de fonds de capital-investissement et autres fonds d’investissement privés. Vous fournirez également des conseils juridiques, réglementaires et en matière de conformité aux gestionnaires d’actifs, institutions financières, commanditaires de fonds et autres acteurs des marchés financiers, notamment dans un contexte transfrontalier. As an investment funds & asset management associate, your responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing fund agreements and other documentation in connection with investments in various funds, formation of private equity and other private investment fund vehicles, as well as providing advice on legal, compliance and regulatory matters to investment advisers, financial institutions, fund sponsors and other financial markets participants, particularly in the cross-border market. The associate will draft and review fund agreements and documentation for various investment vehicles, including private equity funds. They will also provide legal, regulatory, and compliance advice to asset managers and financial institutions, particularly in cross-border contexts.

Candidates must have 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in investment funds and asset management, ideally in private practice. A Bachelor of Laws and membership in the Quebec Bar are required, along with fluency in both French and English.
