Compensation: $40-$45/hr depending on experience Reports to: Construction Manager Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm Stillwater Custom Homes builds high-performance custom homes and renovations across Greater Victoria. We’re a tight-knit team that takes our craft seriously — and we’re looking for a Site Lead who does too. The Role You’ll run the day-to-day on site — leading a team of carpenters and apprentices, coordinating with the Construction Manager and Project Manager, and making sure every build meets our quality standard. Hands-on work, real leadership, and a direct impact on what gets built. What You’ll Do Lead site set-up, daily operations, and project close-out Perform and lead framing, building envelope, and finishing work Mentor carpenters and apprentices on site Coordinate with the Construction Manager and Project Manager on schedule, budget, and scope Maintain safety standards and daily documentation Uphold Stillwater’s quality and client care standards on every project What We Offer Competitive hourly wage + overtime at time and a half (80+ hrs/pay period) 4%–6% vacation pay depending on tenure Health Care Spending Account after 6 months Paid safety training and certifications Company tablet provided after probationary period Annual compensation review Stable, full-time work on high-quality residential projects What We’re Looking For Journeyman Carpenter (Red Seal an asset) 5+ years in residential construction with site leadership experience Strong finishing and framing skills Reliable vehicle and own tools Someone who leads by example and takes pride in their work If this sounds like you, we’d like to hear from you. Requirements
