Compensation The position offers a $100,000 base salary, supported by a commission structure designed to meaningfully increase overall earnings as you grow and develop the business. Commission is paid on sales margin, giving successful performers the opportunity to bring their total compensation in line with — and potentially beyond — prevailing market earnings for comparable roles. Position Description Reporting to senior leadership responsible for large and complex loss, the Large Loss Project Manager is a key operational leader. The role is accountable for project delivery, financial performance, customer experience, and effective coordination across internal team members, trades, homeowners, adjusters, and industry partners. Project leadership and performance. Take ownership of assigned large and complex loss files and contribute to the achievement of annual sales, performance, service, and customer-experience goals. Estimating and bid management. Understand and execute competitive bids; ensure emergency and building estimates accurately reflect the required scope of work and support appropriate project margins. Budgeting and financial control. Prepare project budgets, establish effective draw schedules, issue and manage trade purchase orders, protect target margins, and support timely collection of accounts receivable. Planning and resource coordination. Develop formal work-delivery schedules that maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability while ensuring Project Coordinators, Construction Managers, and other resources are properly equipped and effectively utilized. Trade partner management. Build and maintain a reliable, capable network of trades and ensure work is completed in accordance with approved scopes, work orders, quality expectations, and project schedules. File and compliance management. Maintain current, accurate project documentation in the organization’s restoration management and estimating platforms, and ensure delivery complies with applicable service-level agreements. Stakeholder communication. Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, adjusters, internal stakeholders, and industry partners throughout the project lifecycle. Customer experience and quality. Deliver a consistently high standard of customer experience, supported by quality workmanship, proactive communication, and strong customer-satisfaction outcomes. Safety and employment standards. Apply working knowledge of Ontario occupational health and safety and employment standards requirements, and follow company direction regarding applicable federal, provincial, and municipal guidelines. Team leadership. Model the organization’s values, support the development of team members, and help create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Experience At least four years of project management experience in the property damage restoration industry. Demonstrated experience managing large-loss and/or commercial restoration projects. Qualifications Strong understanding of estimating, project budgeting, trade management, scheduling, documentation, and margin control. Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and develop people in a fast-moving project environment. Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Goal-oriented and customer-focused, with sound values, good judgment, and a strong sense of accountability. Valid Ontario driver’s licence.
