Provides K-12 education for Iethka children in the First Nations communities of Gahna, Mînî Thnî, and Kiska Wapta. The Stoney Education Authority headquarters are based in Mini Thni (Morley), Alberta. It is controlled and funded by the the Stoney Tribal Administration under the direction of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney bands of the Iethka people. There are currently four schools serving our communities.

Teach Junior and Senior High Mathematics and Science courses aligned with the Alberta curriculum. Create an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom environment while integrating Indigenous perspectives and collaborating with the Stoney Nakoda community.

High School English Language Arts

On-site · Morley

The teacher will deliver the Alberta High School English Language Arts curriculum while integrating Stoney Nakoda culture, identity, and land-based learning. They are responsible for building strong relationships with students and using differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs.

Drama/Artistic Education K-Grade 5

On-site

Design and deliver a comprehensive K-5 performing arts program integrating drama, music, and Stoney Nakoda culture. Collaborate with staff and community Elders to foster creativity and support literacy development through artistic expression.
