JOB OBJECTIVE Seeking an experienced and technically skilled Warehouse Associate to join the team at Stormtech Performance Apparel at our brand new state of the art facility in Markham, ON. This position is responsible for picking, packing, shipping and receiving of quality clothing apparel in our Distribution Centre environment. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES * * Order Fulfillment: Ability to accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping is fundamental. This includes understanding pick tickets, locating items efficiently, and ensuring proper packaging and labeling to meet shipping standards. * Equipment Operation: Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks is beneficial for safely moving and storing products. * Data Entry and Technological Proficiency: Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software for tracking inventory and processing orders. * Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to stand/walk during shifts, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach. * Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items. * Transporting materials to different locations within the warehouse in a safe manner. * Experience working with a Warehouse Management System is an asset. * Carry out duties in compliance to legislative responsibilities, company guidelines and procedures regarding operation of powered equipment. * Other duties as assigned CHARACTER ATTRIBUTES * * Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment. * Dependability: Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and consistently meeting work quality and productivity standards. * Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, technologies, and responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to professional development. * Customer Focus: Understanding the importance of accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment to enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to a positive customer experience. * Teamwork and Communication: Effective collaboration and clear communication with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
