The Repair Assembly Technician is responsible for the repair of wellhead equipment within the aftermarket product line, while maintaining high standards of production, documentation, and safety. Key position functions include: * Dismantle, clean and inspect reconditioned wellhead equipment for repair. * Coordinate work orders with department Lead Hand. * Work with Lead Hand and Parts Room to coordinate and meet deadlines for soft repair parts required for orders. * Repair equipment to the quality standards and procedures of Stream-Flo Industries and Customer requirements. * Re-stamp equipment as modifications / conversions are made to equipment as stated in Work Orders as per SFI Quality Control. * Locate and pull equipment from yard stock as needed to fulfill orders. * Work alongside the QC department to ensure deadlines are met. * Inform Supervisor/Lead Hand of any irregularities with orders or equipment. * Assist in maintaining yard with stock and general cleanliness. * Dispose equipment that is deemed un-repairable. * Meet deadlines while producing quality work and a quality product. * Perform other duties as required or assigned. Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following: * High School Diploma with relevant experience with valves/chokes and oilfield industry preferred * Mechanically inclined; basic understanding of hand and power tool functionality * Ability to operate a forklift * Strong computer skills using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of ERP software would be an asset * Good communication (oral and written), interpersonal, customer service, and problem solving skills * Afterhours availability when required * Well organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment * Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy The Stream-Flo Group of Companies, consisting of Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. and Master Flo Valve Inc., are privately owned and operated Canadian manufacturers of wellhead, production gate valve and check valve equipment, as well as chokes, specialty control valves and supporting actuation.
