Job summary
Location: 2 Medicorum Place, Waterdown, ON Summary: As a Demo Technician, you will support Stryker’s demo and loaner equipment by performing technical troubleshooting, repairs, preventative maintenance, testing, calibration, and quality inspections to ensure products are safe, functional, and ready for use. You will prepare and stage equipment for demonstrations, evaluations, and customer needs while partnering closely with Sales, Service, and other internal teams. This role combines hands-on technical expertise, equipment and inventory management, and responsive service to support an exceptional customer experience. What You Will Do: Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service Stryker equipment, including mechanical, hardware, software, and system-related issues. Perform functional testing, preventative maintenance, calibration, and Quality Control inspections on demo, consignment, loaner, and repaired equipment. Prepare, assemble, stage, and verify demo and loaner products for customer evaluations, sales demonstrations, shows, deliveries, and other business needs. Partner with Sales Representatives, Territory Managers, Service teams, and other stakeholders to prioritize equipment needs and ensure timely product readiness. Maintain accurate service and equipment documentation, including repair orders, function checks, product inquiries, field actions, parts requests, and calibration records. Manage equipment, service parts, tools, and inventory, including cycle counts, reconciliation, organization, and verification of tool and test-equipment calibration. Investigate equipment failures and customer feedback, perform root cause analysis, identify trends, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical and product support to customers and internal partners, including equipment operation, maintenance guidance, and training. What You Need: Required: Post Secondary Diploma or equivalent 2+ years related technical experience Ability to read and understand technical drawings Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
