CORE DRILLER -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Location: Harley, ON OVERVIEW A Core Driller works independently to perform core drilling tasks on commercial pre-cast structures, usually post-erection. Long hours are involved, working in most weather conditions. Overnight stays are occasionally involved depending on the job location and requirement. THE DAY TO DAY * Drives to job sites * Unload necessary equipment * Reads plans and determine what drilling is required * Measures and marks of the drilling areas * Performs required drilling * Maintains a safe and organized job site * Helps the precast erection crew as required * Cleans site and load equipment when tasks are complete WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Must be able to work in a self-managed team. * Ability to read and write English * Ability to read tape measure (metric/imperial) and drawings * Ability to lift to 50 lbs. * Safety conscious * Able to work well independently, with little supervision * Attention to detail and accurate * Reliable and highly motivated * Welding experience an asset * One year’s experience in a similar field is preferred Stubbe's is committed to providing accommodations to those individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
