The Core Driller is responsible for independently performing drilling tasks on commercial pre-cast structures at various job sites. This includes reading plans, marking drilling areas, maintaining equipment, and assisting the erection crew as needed.

CORE DRILLER -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Location: Harley, ON Like being trusted to get the job done right? Join Stubbe’s as a Core Driller and take the lead on drilling work at our precast construction sites. Stubbe’s is a family-owned company with more than 40 years of experience. In this role, you’ll head to job sites after precast components have been installed, work from drawings, and make sure every hole is measured and drilled accurately. You’ll have room to manage your own work while still being part of the installation team. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? * Drive to job sites, unload equipment, and set up your work area. * Read plans to identify where drilling is needed. * Measure, mark, and complete core drilling. * Keep your work area safe and organized. * Help the precast installation crew when needed. * Clean up and load your equipment at the end of the job. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * A reliable, motivated person who can work independently. * A careful approach to measuring, following drawings, and working safely. * The ability to read and write English and use a tape measure in metric and imperial. * The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in different weather conditions. * Availability for long workdays and occasional overnight stays. One year of experience in a similar field is preferred. Welding experience is an asset. Ready for a role where you can take ownership of your work?
