Today the studio works with prestige and emerging luxury brands or through private commissions on hospitality, retail, and residential projects, delivering highly considered guest experiences, through attention to detail and full immersion, into worlds both luxurious and distinct. Role: The Senior Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of complex hospitality, residential, and luxury interior projects. With 8–15+ years of professional experience, this role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered successfully through the construction phase while maintaining alignment with design intent, schedule, budget, and client expectations. Working closely with Project Directors, Project Leads, and consultants, the Senior Project Manager oversees all aspects of project delivery, acting as the primary operational leader for assigned projects. The Senior Project Manager plays a central role in execution of the project and maintaining the studio's standards of design excellence in design and delivery. Responsibilities: Maintains ownership of project execution, ensuring alignment between design intent, client objectives, budget constraints, and construction realities. Oversees and administers RFIs, Site Instructions, Change Orders, Supplemental Instructions, Site Reports, Meeting Minutes, Deficiency Reviews, Progress Documentation, and Official Correspondence. Reviews and coordinates shop drawings, mock-ups, material samples, and fabrication submissions to ensure compliance with design intent and project requirements. Conducts site visits, site observations, contractor coordination meetings, and field reviews, proactively identifying and resolving project issues. Maintains comprehensive project documentation and reporting throughout construction. Demonstrates strong understanding of building systems, construction methodologies, building codes, and technical detailing. Serves as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients throughout project delivery. Navigates complex project discussions and conflict resolution while maintaining positive working relationships. Reviews project documentation with a critical eye, ensuring consistency, constructability, and alignment with project objectives. Provides technical guidance and execution oversight to maintain the integrity of the design vision throughout construction. Credentials: 8–15+ years of project management experience within interior design, architecture, hospitality, or luxury related sectors. Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (Bachelor’s or Master’s). Professional certification (PMP, NCIDQ, LEED AP, or equivalent) is an asset. Strong familiarity with local and international building codes, permitting requirements, and construction practices. Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, Procore, Oracle Aconex, BIM360 and related project management platforms and ability to reference SketchUp models.
