Job Description: Location: Join our Group Retirement Savings Client Service Centre team at 1 York overlooking the Toronto Harbour with direct PATH access to Union Station. This role is hybrid (once per week in office) At Sun Life, our clients are at the centre of everything we do. As a licensed Financial Services Consultant (FSC) your work will directly contribute to our mission of helping clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives. As a member of our Client Relationship team, you will support Sun Life clients with their wealth management needs. Your objective is to provide comprehensive portfolio reviews, assist with retirement planning and advise clients on financial decisions while helping them achieve their financial goals. You will be tasked with strengthening client relationships, while achieving service & sales targets. Licensing requirement: Valid and active Life Insurance License (LLQP) Main accountabilities: Proactively call existing Sun Life clients that have a Group Retirement Savings (GRS) plan to establish a relationship where the objective is to educate members on their investments, assist with product enrolment and asset consolidation. Consult with clients by providing investment advice related to their financial needs, including savings and retirement income. Partner with clients to be ‘retirement ready’, through the use of financial planning tools. Ensure all clients maintain an updated plan in order to achieve personal financial goals. Review portfolio investments, product options, savings goals, and assist with asset consolidation. Create an investment risk assessment profile for clients. This will support them in aligning their investments to their desired risk tolerance. Contribute to sales and service targets by demonstrating to clients the value of their benefits available to them through their employer plans and assist with payroll deduction set ups, lump sum contributions and asset consolidation. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
