Responsibilities: Adjudicate manage employee STD claims in accordance with legislative requirements and Suncor’s case management process and practices Assess employee fitness to work and communicate restrictions and limitations to the business area Identify and arrange suitable medical interventions to assist employees in their recovery Collect information and collaborate with stakeholders to develop an appropriate transitional return to work plan to facilitate safe, timely, and sustainable return to work Educate and inform key stakeholders on the requirements of short-term and long-term disability programs, including roles, responsibilities, expectations, and consequences Exercise ethical and professional judgment in determining the appropriate collection, use, and disclosure of personal health information Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic documentation and internal records Location and other Key Details: This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
