Working at our Sulfur Plant within our Montréal refinery has a lot of perks. You will also become part of a highly motivated team of professionals working at a sulfur plant that produces liquid sulfur and sodium bisulfide. Minimum Requirements: Five years of relevant work experience in chemical processes and/or a DEC or AEC (diploma or attestation of college studies) in chemical process techniques or the equivalent A Class 4 (or higher) static-equipment mechanic's qualification card/certificate or to obtain it as a condition of employment A valid driver’s licence Fluent in French – please submit your resume in FRENCH Strong proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to make timely decisions The ability to collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value Responsibilities: Conduct quality-control rounds and sampling at regular intervals with a critical eye for the operational process and equipment in use by demonstrating operational discipline Monitor the status of current maintenance work regularly Participate in unit and equipment shutdowns Respond to emergencies and/or upset conditions in the units following established procedures Operate the Control Board Take samples and perform light maintenance work Take action to resolve potential problems as soon as they are identified Conduct pipe alignments, maintenance and all other tasks required to ensure smooth operations Carried out truck and rail tanker loading/unloading Location and other Key Details: You will work at our Sulfur Plant within our Montréal refinery, located at 11450 rue Cherrier Montréal-east Rotating day and night shift schedule, consisting of 12-hour shifts You will need to be available to work overtime when required This position is safety sensitive You will be required to perform some heavy lifting, make use of ladders, and work on elevated work sites such as scaffolds and towers, with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor as well as within confined spaces This is a unionized role We hire Process Operators multiple times a year and we call back candidates who have interviewed with us earlier in the year Think we are a fit? Requirements

Candidates must have at least five years of relevant experience in chemical processes or a college diploma in chemical process techniques. A Class 4 static-equipment mechanic's certificate and a valid driver's license are also required.
