What can you expect? Food & Beverage Supervisors provide an outstanding experience for our guests. They are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the outlet by adopting a hand on approach for training, motivating, supervising, and evaluating their team. They ensure that quality service, product, and safety standards are consistently met. This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy: Providing excellent guest service. Overseeing daily operations of staffing, opening, running, and closing of the restaurant. Overseeing and training team members in resort system Dayforce, POS systems, cash-outs, product knowledge, health, and safety procedures. Scheduling staff and completing checks of their timecard in Dayforce. Able and willing to work in all areas of the unit. Reviewing daily labour and sales report to track outlets progress. Providing coaching and conduct performance evaluations for all team members. Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with all standards. Overseeing and responding to customer concerns. Assisting Manager in the outlets monthly inventory. Other duties as assigned. And you have: Passion for providing outstanding guest service. Food and Beverage experience at the supervisory level. Successful completion of Pro-Serve alcohol service certificate prior to commencement. Previous POS systems and cash handling experience. Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative. Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and time management skills. Calm under pressure and patient, able to exercise good decision making. Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally. Maintain professional conduct when in uniform, on or off-duty, and online. WHMIS training is an asset. Experience with coaching and motivating teams in a remote location is an asset. Additional Considerations: Employees must always be of sound mind, exhibit good judgment, and report to work fit for duty. This position works at high altitude and at times, in inclement weather. Prolonged periods of standing, repetitive motions, bending and twisting is required. Some required uniform pieces are provided. Based on operational needs, this position may require working in various Food & Beverage venues across the resort. This role is subject to all terms and conditions of the Sunshine Village Employee Handbook and Policy Manual, and the Alberta Employment Standards Code. Requirements
