Reporting to the Senior Manager of Optimization & Analytics, the Marketing & Pricing Analyst is responsible for the pricing function at Superior Gas Liquids along with market analysis support for the trading desk. You will create and produce spreadsheets, data platforms and tools as used by the SGL family. The successful candidate will have a strong background in analytics, VB, macros, and Power BI coupled with a strong team-orientated demeanor and aptitude for learning. What you’ll do: Manage and update pricing data using Excel, RightAngle and other internal tools. Set daily propane rack prices across Canada and the U.S. Track market pricing trends and key propane hub data. Develop and distribute market reports and pricing updates. Build and maintain forecasting models and analytics tools. Support invoice verification and month-end inventory reporting. Provide pricing insights to internal teams and external stakeholders. Assist with fixed price quotes and accounting coordination. Contribute to ad hoc projects and support logistics and marketing teams. What you bring: Post secondary education in data analytics and finance. A minimum of 3-5 years experience in oil & gas, energy, and commodity based industries. Advanced knowledge of Excel with strong financial modeling skills, and VBA experience. Knowledge of RightAngle would be considered an asset. Must be a team player and understand team dynamics. Strong analytical skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize work appropriately while maintaining strong attention to detail. Salary: $58,300 - $72,850 annually (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
