Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding, cementing or sealing with glue. Monitors backfill of pipe bedding to ensure proper haunch support. Install and repair sanitary and storm water, sewer structures and pipe systems. Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. This is a general responsibilities list and does not include all responsibilities required of the position. Pipelayer Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a pipelayer. Responsible for assembling, connecting and constructing pipe systems for storm or sanitation sewers, drains and water mains. Ensures ground is prepped and trenches dug out for pipes.
