Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions Requirements: Personal Reliable Vehicle Valid Class 5 Drivers License CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support Pre-employment: Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test) Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation Fitness to Work Assessment Parts Technician (Heavy Equipment) Responsibilities: Ensure orders are filled in a timely manner, using electronic order systems. Complete broker paperwork for international shipping. Ensuring time efficiency when filing orders. Research, identify and communicate cost. Assist with maintaining inventory. Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. Parts Technician (Heavy Equipment) Qualifications: Journeyperson and Apprentices will be considered for this position. Apprentices must be in good standing with AIT. Prior CAT - SIS experience is considered a strong asset. Prior Komatsu experience is beneficial. GET/Undercarriage knowledge is an asset. Prior experience working as a Journeyperson Mechanic or mechanical background is considered a strong asset. Working with Inventory Assist with Shipping Parts to USA with XPO, UPS, or Manitoulin. What you’ll do

Responsible for filling orders using electronic systems and managing international shipping paperwork. The role involves maintaining inventory and adhering to company safety programs for heavy equipment parts.

Requirements

Requires a valid Class 5 driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to work in physically demanding conditions. Candidates should be Journeypersons or Apprentices in good standing with AIT, preferably with CAT or Komatsu experience.
