You’ll own the quality and precision of our garments and play a key role in the client experience. Execute high-level alterations (jackets, trousers, vests, shirts — full scope) Ensure every garment meets Surmesur’s fit standards Manage alteration timelines and client expectations with precision Support fittings alongside the styling team when needed Identify fit issues quickly and propose clean, effective solutions Maintain an organized, professional tailoring space Collaborate with the Branch Manager on recurring fit challenges and improvements Who you are Passionate about tailoring, craftsmanship, and fashion Detail-obsessed — you notice what others miss Fast, efficient, and accountable under pressure Comfortable working independently and with a team Solutions-driven — you don’t just flag problems, you fix them Adaptable and open to new tools, processes, and ways of working What you bring 5+ years of menswear tailoring experience (preferred) Strong understanding of garment construction and fit Advanced alteration experience across jackets, trousers, vests, and shirts Experience with industrial machines (hemming, serger, etc.) Ability to diagnose fit issues and execute precise corrections Strong time management and organizational skills What we offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Commission program Clothing allowance + 60% employee discount Ongoing training and development A fast-growing brand with real opportunity to grow your role If you care about craftsmanship, take pride in your work, and want to be part of a team that’s building something meaningful, we’d love to meet you.
