Job Summary The Cargo office agent will assist on daily operations. Verify and keep records on import and export cargo as well as maintain applicable safety and quality standards. Job Responsibilities Prepare airline and customs documentation Comply with company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies Ensure paperwork is prepared timely and accurately Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is correct before release Assure proper compliance with local and international laws and regulations Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations Comply with other general office duties as assigned Qualifications and Competencies High school diploma or GED equivalent Bilingual for restricted clientele in French and English, spoken and written General office operations skills Able to process forms and documents in the two official languages Able to communicate to airport, airline and Cargo personal effectively Customer focus and quality awareness Must be able to work flexible working hours Willing to work in inclement weather conditions What we offer: Competitive pay Paid training Group benefits (Insurance, RRSP’s, etc.) Paid parking Uniform At Swissport, we believe in diversity, equal opportunity, and the power of our values to drive our success.
