Position: Microsoft Dynamics CRM Architect Location: Toronto, ON Job ID#: RQ11372 Duration: 7 Months Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics CRM Architect to provide technical leadership for Microsoft Dynamics 365 initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining enterprise-scale technical architectures, guiding integration strategies, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, and supporting governance processes in a complex public-sector environment. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Technical Leadership Define and maintain end-to-end technical architecture across application, data, and integration domains. Ensure all configurations and customizations align with enterprise architecture and security standards. Lead the design of complex integrations between Dynamics 365, legacy systems, and Azure data platforms. Mentor development teams and review technical designs to ensure scalability and maintainability. Assignment Deliverables Develop architecture design artifacts, including conceptual, logical, and physical models for Dynamics 365 processes and data structures. Design and oversee implementation of integration strategies using Azure Integration Services and Azure Data Factory. Prepare and present governance documentation for architecture review and cybersecurity assessment processes. Establish deployment, version control, and CI/CD strategies, including automated build and release pipelines. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements Minimum 8 years of experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives and strategic solution design in complex distributed environments. Deep hands-on experience architecting and integrating solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O). Proven experience designing end-to-end cloud architectures using Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Data Factory, and Synapse. Experience navigating Ontario Government enterprise architecture governance processes, including architecture review and cybersecurity assessment approvals. Desired Skills & Experience Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Strong expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and F&O. Experience with Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Familiarity with D365 development technologies including C#, X++, and Power FX. Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 data models. Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design Extensive experience managing and developing complex enterprise architectures. Ability to create comprehensive design artifacts and define optimal technology stacks. Experience with structured enterprise methodologies for large-scale application environments. Cloud, Data & Integration Deep understanding of Azure services including App Services, Azure SQL, Networking, and Security Center. Experience designing large-scale enterprise integrations. Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics and enterprise data warehousing strategies. Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and release management best practices. Leadership & Communication Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience building consensus among diverse stakeholder groups. Strong risk identification and mitigation capabilities. Evaluation Criteria Technical Architecture & Microsoft Ecosystem Expertise (45%) Enterprise Dynamics 365 CE and F&O architecture experience. Azure cloud services expertise including Dataverse and Synapse. Strong Power Platform knowledge. Strategic Design & Governance Acumen (30%) Experience with architecture governance and cybersecurity review processes. Ability to translate business requirements into enterprise technical architectures. Leadership & Communication Skills (20%) Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. DevOps & Performance Optimization (5%) Experience implementing CI/CD strategies. Experience optimizing performance within distributed cloud environments. Knowledge Transfer Responsibilities Document development, integration, support, configuration, customization, and stabilization activities throughout the engagement. Audience Project Manager and team members. Approach Knowledge transfer through one-on-one meetings, team meetings, project documentation, collaboration platforms, and DevOps repositories throughout the project lifecycle. Work Arrangement 5 days onsite. Must-Have Skill Deep hands-on experience architecting and integrating solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O).
